1. What are the system requirements forInPronto web site and online application?

    Currently we only support Microsoft Platform and Browser. The Computer System Software Specifications are:
    • Microsoft Windows XP(SP3)
    • Microsoft Vista (SP2) 32Bit/64Bit
    • Microsoft 7 (SP1) 32Bit/64Bit
    • Microsoft Windows 8
      The Internet Browser:
    • Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 and 10.0
      Adobe Reader:
    • Abobe Acrobat Reader Version 8.0, 9.0, 10, Adobe Acrobat Pro

2. What do I need to know to get started with InPronto

    In order to get started with Inpronto and submit a case, click on the Getting Started flow chart to understand what is required and how to go about it.

3. How do I take Impressions and what should I avoid?

    The PVS impressions will be scanned in the Cone Bean Machine. Do NOT use Metal Trays.
    • Take impressions with putty first
    • Remove Interproximal areas with a sharp blade
    • Take final impression with regular wash material


4. How do I take a Bite Registration and what should I avoid?

5. What are the Scan Protocols and File Types?

    InPronto created Scan Protocols that would detail the Cone Bean Machine settings, field of view, patient positioning and scan settings and instructions. The file type are DICOMs and the formats are:
    • DICOM 3 data
    • Non-compressed multi file format

6. If I have a Cone Bean Machine, how do I calibrate it?

    The Cone Bean Scanner should be calibrated to correct for beam hardening in tissue, click on the Calibration Spec button to your right to view the specifications procedure.
